Nativity Feast Celebrated in Sacred Heart Ward

The Sacred Heart ward community came together to celebrate the Feast of Nativity on September 15th at 4 pm at Mr. Leo Vas' residence.

The program was expertly emceed by Mrs. Ashwini Veighas, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. The celebration commenced with solemn prayers conducted by Sujit Vas, setting the tone for a spirit-filled evening.

A floral tribute to Maria Bambina followed, after which the community engaged in exciting games organized by Mrs. Usha Fernandes, the Gurkarn. The games catered to four categories, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among children and adults alike. Winners received prizes, and every family member was acknowledged with a token of appreciation for their presence.

Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto, our Parish Priest, graciously joined the gathering, offering prayers and blessings. The evening culminated with the traditional blessed new grain added to the Vorn,  symbolizing abundance and gratitude. Michael Sequeira delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all contributors and participants.

The celebration was a resounding success, strengthening the bonds within our ward community and filling the evening with warmth and unity.
